Sapho celebrates its 50th anniversary at the Salon du Végétal 2024!

1974 marked the beginning of a wonderful collective adventure, both human and plant-based. In 2024, Sapho is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and it's only natural that we've chosen the Salon du Végétal, the place where the entire industry comes together, to celebrate this event with you.

We look forward to seeing you from September 10 to 12, 2024, at the Salon du Végétal. Full details of our exciting program below.

Events not to be missed!

Our highlight

We invite you to join us on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 1:45pm to 2:45pm, in La Serre in the Hall Ardésia.

This special occasion will give us the opportunity to look back at the major milestones in our history, our vision as a publisher and of good-natured plants, and also to talk about the future.

We'll also be delighted to present our 50th anniversary book-catalogue!

The presentation will be followed by a cocktail party where we'll be able to exchange ideas and offer you the book - an event not to be missed!

Innovert Award

The Innovert prize-giving ceremony will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 11 a.m. in La Serre, Hall Ardésia.

We are delighted to receive the Gold Trophy in the Plant Innovation category for our 2023 novelty: Agapanthus africanus NINA® White 'MONSAPHO'. The jury was won over by the remarkable qualities of this agapanthus: ultra-compact, highly floriferous, and right from its first year!

Also of note: Actinidia 'HERMA', a large-fruited, self-fertilizing kiwi, was nominated by the jury.

Candles to blow out

Many thanks to Salon du Végétal for organizing the festive evening of Tuesday September 10 at the Parc des Expositions for exhibitors and trade visitors, and for giving us the opportunity to blow out our 50 candles in the presence of all the participants and alongside other exhibitors whose anniversary it is too!

The Sapho stand

We look forward to welcoming you throughout the show, from September 10 to 12, 2024, on stand no. 60 - Grand Palais.

This year, we'll be highlighting five contributions from landscape architects and design offices. To mark Sapho's 50th anniversary, they have given us a wonderful gift by designing projects with Sapho plants at the heart of their inspiration, such as “Faire le mur”. You'll find all five of them in our catalog book!

To celebrate our 50th anniversary, we're delighted to take part in the heart of plants by offering you one of our eight garden scenes: “Happiness is in the garden, the magic of plants”. As a publisher of plant innovations, we select new varieties to further enrich this treasure chest of “good natured plants” that are stunning, generous, hardy and easy to live with. Many thanks to our partner l'Escarpolette, whose furniture, made in the Deux Sèvres region, goes so well with Sapho plants to illustrate the garden, a place of beauty, well-being, relaxation and conviviality.
