Trees and shrubs

A resistant hebe, easy to grow and highly ornamentalHebe 'Celebration' is a highly ornamental variety that we have chosen for its resistance and easy cultivation. It has variegated, almost two-toned leaves: dark green along the central nerve and very light green across the width of the leaf, with a light pink edging. The overall effect is of a dense and very bright foliage. Its highly colourful flowers add to its interest. Numerous clusters of melliferous flowers of an intense magenta appear at the end of May and continue through the summer. It's a robust plant which naturally forms a well-branched, dome-shaped shrub with a tendancy to spread with age. It makes an excellent shrub for your garden or patio. A higher resistance to excess water makes it less sensitive to phytophtora than classic varieties. As a plant originating in coastal climates, this veronica may need to be protected from frost in winter. Hebe 'Celebration' received a Silver Award at the UK National Plant Show in 2016.Trophies: SILVER award at the 2016 National Plant Show, UK

It may therefore also be used in hedges or maintained as a miniature if necessary.Ideally it prefers a mild, oceanic climate but is nevertheless hardy up to -10°. In colder regions, it's recommended to plant it in sheltered spots, away from cold winds.
Handsome creamy white panicles contrasting with upright dark red stems Candlelight® has large creamy white cone-shaped panicles on upright dark red stems. The contrast between flower and stem is striking. The open panicles carry both sterile and fertile flowers. As summer advances, the flowers take on soft shades of gentle pink which become increasingly pronounced until the panicles are a strong dark pink. The Hydrangea paniculata CANDLELIGHT® is a particularly upright and branched shrub. Thanks to its vigorous and vertical growth, its flowers remain firm all summer. Growing no higher than 1.5 m, it can be planted either in boxes or in the ground, singly or in mixed beds.

The very small fertile flowers are naturally hidden. The flowers renew themselves all summer long. the shrub simultaneously carries panicles of all three shades. The flower stems are strong and stay well upright, without dropping due to the weight of the panicles in full bloom. The heads can be used as cut or dried flowers. In autumn, the foliage turns from yellow to purple red. Trophies: Silver Medal at PLANTARIUM 2013 (Boskoop - Netherlands)

An early, compact hydrangea with panicles that provide a cloud of colourful flowers until the end of summerDeveloped from Dharuma, the Hydrangea paniculata POLESTAR® is both exceptionally precocious and generous with its flowers that cover the entire plant. The first buds appear at the end of May, opening at the beginning of June. As they mature the flowers change colour, adding to their allure: initially green-white, they develop hints of a creamy yellow which becomes pink and finally an intense pinky red at the end of summer. The big sterile flowers mask the small fertile panicles, giving the impression of large, flat inflorescences.Ultra-compact, the plant reaches a maximum height of 40 cms during the growing period. Highly resistant to cold, it can flower even in the shade. POLESTAR® is a star that merits a place in a large tub, isolated in the garden or in the front of a bed. It's an easy plant to manage, requiring little attention. Given its early growth, pruning needs to be limited to a simple tidying up so as not to hinder its flowering.Trophies: Best Novelty at Garden Trials and Trade 2018
